Μια λαοθάλασα, τουλάχιστον 500.000 άνθρωποι, συμμετείχαν στη σημερινή (Κυριακή) διαδήλωση για την ειρήνη που διοργανώθηκε στο κέντρο του Βερολίνου.
Με συνθήματα «Όχι στον πόλεμο», «Αλληλεγγύη στην Ουκρανία», «Ελβετία, πάγωσε τους λογαριασμούς τους», αλλά και «Προτιμώ να μαγειρεύω στη φωτιά παρά να συνεργαστώ» και «Ο Πούτιν δεν είναι η Ρωσία», άνθρωποι κάθε ηλικίας συγκεντρώθηκαν στην περιοχή της Πύλης του Βραδεμβούργου κρατώντας σημαίες της Ουκρανίας, ενώ στο Ομοσπονδιακό Κοινοβούλιο βρισκόταν σε εξέλιξη η έκτακτη συνεδρίαση για τον πόλεμο στην Ουκρανία. Μεταξύ των διοργανωτών ήταν ομάδες της ουκρανικής διασποράς αλλά και γερμανικές οργανώσεις ανθρωπίνων δικαιωμάτων.
Η αστυνομία είχε αποκλείσει τον δρόμο μπροστά από την πρεσβεία της Ρωσικής Ομοσπονδίας, η οποία βρίσκεται στην ίδια περιοχή, ενώ από μεγάφωνα καλούσε τους συγκεντρωθέντες να τηρούν τα μέτρα υγιεινής, με αποστάσεις και μάσκες.
Η συγκέντρωση, η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε «σχεδόν χωρίς προβλήματα και ειρηνικά», σύμφωνα με τη σχετική ανακοίνωση της Αστυνομίας, διαλύθηκε τέσσερις ώρες μετά.
